Oil prices jumped,in early Asian trading, oil benchmark Brent crude futures jumped about 7 percent to $96.85 a barrel, and the price of US crude oil jumped 6.4 percent to $87.88 per barrel after trading resumed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
