david, "dividend" received from reit ="income distribution" , it will be taxed on ur personal tax bracket. if u are t20, you will be taxed at 25% . its different things/scenario to dividend received from corporate co. for more than 100k

dividend other than received from reit, when receive more than 100k will be taxed at 2%, formula applies. not buta 2%
