ALDRICH RESOURCES BERHAD ("Aldrich" or "the Company")
- Receipt of Approval from Ministry of Housing and Local Government ("MHLG") by Proficient Premium Sdn. Bhd., an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company ("PPSB") to conduct online moneylending business pursuant to Moneylenders Act 1951 [Act 400]

The Board of Directors of Aldrich is pleased to announce that MHLG had vide its letter dated 29 July 2026, granted approval to Proficient Premium Sdn. Bhd. ("PPSB") to conduct online moneylending business under its moneylending licence ("Approval"). The Approval was received by PPSB on 30 July 2026.

 

The Approval will not have any material effect on the earnings per share and net assets per share of the Company and its subsidiaries for the financial year ending 30 June 2027. The Approval will not have any effect on the share capital, gearing and substantial shareholders' shareholdings of the Company.

 

None of the Directors and/or major shareholders of Aldrich and/or persons connected with them have any interests, direct or indirect, in the Approval.

 

Having considered all aspects of the Approval, the Board of Directors of Aldrich is of the view that the Approval is in the best interest of the Company.
