| Working experience and occupation | Mr. James Koh has 20 years of experience in public administration, public policy, corporate strategy, international relations, investment, and business development. He began his career in the Malaysian Civil Service in 2005 and has held various leadership and strategic positions within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Housing and Local Government, and the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE). During his tenure with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he served as a Malaysian diplomat in Bangladesh and New Zealand. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Investment & Business Development Committee of Koperasi Profesional Putrajaya Berhad (KOPROJAYA), a government officers' co-operative, providing strategic leadership on investment evaluation, business development, corporate growth initiatives, risk management and governance matters. In the private sector, Mr. Koh serves on the boards of several private limited companies with interests in property development, construction, technology, branding, retail, food and beverage, and the services sector. Mr. Koh is a Lifetime Member of the Administrative & Diplomatic Service Association (PPTD). |
