(The definitions used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as that used in the announcements made on 14 February 2025, 18 February 2025 and 6 January 2026 ("Announcements") unless stated otherwise.)

Further to the Company's Announcements, the Board of Directors of MTG is pleased to announce that MTWCSB, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, had on 6 July 2026, entered into a supplemental agreement with TNB to extend the Contract period ("Optional Contract Extension") ("Supplemental Agreement") and to further amend certain terms and conditions as stated in the Supplemental Agreement.

MTWCSB and TNB agreed to the Optional Contract Extension where MTWCSB shall execute the supply and delivery of various sizes of underground cables and conductors for the distribution network division of TNB in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Contract throughout the Optional Contract Extension period.

The value of the Optional Contract Extension is RM109,539,137.00 and the contract period shall be for a duration of one (1) year commencing from 10 August 2026 and shall remain in full force and effect until 9 August 2027, unless earlier terminated in accordance with the Contract.
