Description	JAKS RESOURCES BERHAD ("JAKS" OR "COMPANY") PROPOSED DISPOSAL OF 100.00% EQUITY INTEREST IN JAKS SOLAR NIBONG TEBAL SDN BHD ("JSNT"), A WHOLLY-OWNED SUBSIDIARY OF JAKS SOLAR POWER SDN BHD ("JSPSB") BY JSPSB TO SUNVIEW ASSET MANAGEMENT SDN BHD ("SAMSB") FOR CASH CONSIDERATION OF RM15.00 MILLION AND SETTLEMENT BY SAMSB OF AMOUNT OWING BY JSNT TO JAKS OF UP TO RM40.00 MILLION ("PROPOSED DISPOSAL")
Reference is made to the Company's announcement dated 12 January 2026 ("Announcement"). Unless otherwise stated, all definitions and terms used in this announcement shall have the same meaning as defined in the Announcement. The Board of Directors of JAKS wishes to announce that JSPSB and SAMSB have mutually agreed to extend the period for the fulfilment of the conditions precedent under the SSA for an additional period of ninety (90) days to 7 October 2026. Consequently, the completion date for the Proposed Disposal has also been extended and shall take place on or before 30 November 2026. The extension was granted to allow the parties additional time to fulfil the conditions precedent stipulated in the SSA. Save for the above, all other terms and conditions of the SSA remain unchanged and will continue to be in full force and have effect. This announcement is dated 19 June 2026.
