UNCONDITIONAL MANDATORY TAKE-OVER OFFER FROM CIMB INVESTMENT BANK BERHAD ON BEHALF OF YTL CEMENT BERHAD ("YTL CEMENT" OR "OFFEROR") TO ACQUIRE ALL THE REMAINING ORDINARY SHARES IN CEPCO NOT ALREADY OWNED BY THE OFFEROR ("OFFER")

Unless otherwise stated, the definitions set out in the announcement dated 1 April 2026 in relation to the Offer shall apply herein.

 

Reference is made to the Company's announcement dated 1 April 2026 in relation to the Offer.

 

The Board of Directors of CEPCO wishes to announce that Mercury Securities Sdn Bhd has been appointed as the Independent Adviser to advise the Directors of CEPCO and holders of the Offer Shares in relation to the Offer in accordance with paragraph 3.06 of the Rules on Take-overs, Mergers and Compulsory Acquisitions.
