INTRODUCTION
The board of directors of Oppstar ("Board") wishes to announce that on 31st March 2026, its wholly-owned subsidiary, Oppstar Microelectronics Sdn Bhd ("Oppstar Microelectronics") has entered into a statement of work ("SOW") with a technology company based in Yokohama, Japan (the "Client") and Silicon X Sdn Bhd ("Silicon X").
The objective of the SOW is for the parties to collaborate on the design and development of a reconfigurable AI chip solution. The project utilises a silicon-proven architecture from Silicon X combined with advanced design methodologies from Oppstar and its subsidiaries ("Oppstar Group" or "Group") to achieve optimised power and performance.
