The Company's announcement dated 4 December 2024 in relation to the resignation of Chief Executive Officer of UEM Sunrise refers.

The Company wishes to announce the appointment of Encik Shaharul Farez Bin Hassan as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (“MD/CEO”) of UEM Sunrise with effect from 17 November 2025.

Encik Shaharul Farez brings with him 30 years of extensive experience in corporate leadership, financial management, strategic planning and corporate operations management across real estate, hospitality, automotive and infrastructure sectors.

He holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Economics & Accounting from the University of Bristol.

With the appointment of the MD/CEO, Encik Hafizuddin Bin Sulaiman will resume his current role as Chief Financial Officer and cease as the Officer In Charge with effect from 17 November 2025.
