REFERRING to an article titled "Tycoons Ride Market Surge", published in the New Straits Times on April 17, it incorrectly referred to the Krishnan family as the family of Tan Sri Krishnan Tan of IJM Corp Bhd and wrongly attached his picture.

The correct reference should have been Ananda Krishnan and family.

We sincerely apologise to Tan Sri Tan and his family for the oversight and for any inconvenience caused to him.

We categorically state that there were no malice and ill intention on our part.

We also regret the inadvertent use of Tan Sri Tan's photo in the said article.

We had immediately amended the online version titled 'Malaysia's richest ride equity boom as fortunes surge 30pct to US$116bil on market rally, IPO wave' which appeared on the same day.
