KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 26): DRB-Hicom Bhd (KL:DRBHCOM) swung to a profit in the fourth quarter on RM334.42 million negative goodwill recognised from the acquisition of CTRM AeroSystems Sdn Bhd.

The group also saw improved contributions from banking and properties segments.

It posted a net profit of RM337.34 million for the quarter ended Dec 31, 2025 (4QFY2025), compared to a net loss of RM46.6 million, a bourse filing showed.

Earnings per share grew to 17.45 sen from negative 2.41 sen for the quarter. No dividend was declared for FY2025. The group paid a 2.5 sen dividend for FY2024.

Revenue for the quarter was up 15.2% to RM4.57 billion, compared with RM3.97 billion on higher sales of Proton vehicles and stronger contributions from the automotive distribution companies.

For the 12-month period, it reported a net profit of RM397.97 million, compared with RM22.55 million.

This was on 6.9% revenue of RM17.3 billion from RM16.2 billion.

The group’s share price was up 0.86% to RM1.15 a share, valuing the company at RM2.2 billion. Year to date, the stock is up 9.52%.
