KUALA LUMPUR: Three gas power plants belonging to Malakoff Corp Bhd
with an aggregate capacity of 2,082MW have been selected for the extension of their operaitons until Dec 31, 2029.
In a statement, the independent power producer said the Energy Commission has given these extensions, which enable the plants to continue supplying electricity to the national grid.
The plants in question include two plants in Lumut, Perak, namely the 1,303MW Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant
