The performance of the plantation sector's upstream segment is expected to be split for the fourth quarter of 2025 (4Q2025), said HLIB Research. HLIB pointed to a mixed upstream performance as four out of seven planters recorded positive quarter-on-quarter growth in fresh fruit bunch (FFB) output, namely Genting Plantations Bhd (KL:GENP), Hap Seng Plantations Holdings Bhd (KL:HSPLANT), IOI Corporation Bhd (KL:IOICORP) and Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd (KL:KLK).
