We refer to the announcements dated 29 May 2025, 30 May 2025 and 3 June 2025 ("earlier announcements") on this matter. Unless otherwise defined, the definitions used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as those defined in the earlier announcements. 

The Company wishes to announce that the Company had on 4 July 2025 received an unsealed copy of the Forms of Summons filed by Messrs Shearn Delamore & Co., the solicitors acting on behalf of Leader Cable Industry Berhad (“LCIB”) and the Liquidators of LCIB (collectively, “the Respondents”), applying to strike out (“Respondents’ Striking Out Application”) the application made by the Company, via its solicitors Messrs S Ravanesan, to seek directions pursuant to Section 461(1) and Section 486 read together with Twelfth Schedule of the Companies Act 2016 and/or the inherent jurisdiction of the High Court of Kuala Lumpur under Companies Winding-up Suit No.: WA-28PW-247-05/2025 (“Enclosure 1”).

The hearing date for both the Enclosure 1 and Respondents’ Striking Out Application has been fixed on 26 September 2025.

The Company will make further announcements as and when there are material developments on the above matter.

NOTICE: The affairs, business and property of the Company are being managed by the Interim Judicial Manager appointed by the High Court of Malaya. The Interim Judicial Manager contracts and acts as an agent of the Company and disclaims any personal liability under any contract entered into by the Company which has been adopted by the Interim Judicial Manager and any contract entered into by the Interim Judicial Manager on behalf of the Company.
