Reference is made to the Company Circular to Shareholders dated 31 July 2024 (“Circular”) in relation to the Proposed Renewal of Shareholders’ Mandate for existing RRPT of A Revenue or Trading Nature and Proposed New Shareholders’ Mandate for additional RRPT (“Proposed Mandate”). The Proposed Mandate was approved by the Shareholders of the Company at the Third Annual General Meeting held on 5 September 2024.
Pursuant to Rule 10.09(2)(e) of the ACE Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, UIB wishes to announce that the actual value of the RRPT entered into by its subsidiary, Syarikat Logam Unitrade Sdn Bhd (“SLU”) with its related party, Sanifix (M) Sdn Bhd (“Sanifix”), has exceeded the estimated value of the RRPT disclosed in the Circular by more than 10%.
