ASTEEL Group Bhd ("ASTEEL") wishes to announce that its subsidiary, ASTEEL Resources Sdn Bhd has on 27 June 2025 disposed its entire equity interest of 30% comprising 180,000 ordinary shares in the share capital of Berger International (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd. 

The above disposal in its entire equity interest is not expected to have any material effect on the earnings, net assets and gearing of ASTEEL Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2025.

None of the directors and/or major shareholders of ASTEEL and/or persons connected with them have any interest, direct or indirect, in the above disposal of equity interest.
