The Board of Directors of Southern Acids (M) Berhad ("Company" or "SAB") wishes to announce that the Company propose to seek approval from its shareholders for the renewal of shareholders' mandate and new shareholders' mandate for SAB and/or its subsidiaries to enter into recurrent related party transactions of a revenue or trading nature at the forthcoming 44th Annual General Meeting ("AGM") of the Company.

The shareholders' mandate approved by the Company's shareholders at the previous 43rd AGM of the Company held on 26 August 2024 will lapse at the conclusion of the forthcoming 44th AGM of the Company, unless authority for its renewal is obtained from the shareholders at the said 44th AGM.

A Circular to Shareholders on the Proposed Renewal of Shareholders' Mandate for Existing Recurrent Related Party Transactions of a Revenue or Trading Nature and Proposed New Shareholders' Mandate for Additional Recurrent Related Party Transactions of a Revenue or Trading Nature together with the Annual Report of the Company for the financial year ended 31 March 2025, will be despatched to the shareholders of SAB in due course.
