On behalf of the Board of Directors, the Company wishes to announce that Chlor-Al Chemical Pte Ltd (“CAL”), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company has on 4 June 2025 received a notice of termination (“Notice”) from one of its major suppliers (“Supplier”) in respect of the distributor agreement between CAL and the Supplier for distribution of alkalis in Vietnam (“Agreement”).  

Pursuant to the Agreement, either party may terminate the Agreement as of the end of the current term by providing at least six months’ notice to the other party. The Notice was provided in accordance with the notice requirements under the Agreement, and the effective date of termination will be 31 December 2025.

There are numerous alternative suppliers in the market who sell the same inorganic chemicals at similar prices, quality and quantity. We are able to source the alkalis supplied by the Supplier from other suppliers at competitive prices as well as similar quality and quantity. As such, the Company is of the view that the termination of the Agreement is not expected to have any material financial and operational impact to the Group.
