On behalf of the Board of Directors of Oasis ("Board"), UOB Kay Hian Securities (M) Sdn Bhd ("UOBKH") wishes to announce that the Company proposes to undertake the following:- i. proposed acquisition of 1,000,000 ordinary shares in Metta Food & Lifestyle Sdn Bhd ("Metta") ("Metta Share(s)" or "Sale Share(s)") from Globaltec Formation Berhad, Dato' Sri Tan Ooi Han, Andre Shum Khum Yuin, Dato' Sri Wong Kok Chor, David Liew Poh Sun and Tan Tung Nguan (collectively, the "Vendor(s)"), representing 100% equity interest in Metta for a total cash consideration of RM30.80 million ("Purchase Consideration") ("Proposed Acquisition"); and ii. proposed variation to the utilisation of proceeds from the Disposal (as defined in Section 3 of the enclosed announcement) to the current intended utilisation ("Proposed Variation"). Further details of the Proposals are set out in the attachment enclosed.
