Reference is made to the announcement dated 7 August 2024 by Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Holdings Berhad ("MHB") in relation to the member’s voluntary winding up of MMHE LNG Sdn Bhd (“MMHE LNG”), a dormant subsidiary of Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned and major subsidiary of MHB.

We wish to inform that MMHE LNG was effectively dissolved on 29 May 2025. The dissolution of MMHE LNG is not expected to have any material impact on the net assets per share, earnings per share or gearing of MHB for the financial year ending 31 December 2025.

None of the Directors, substantial shareholders of MHB, or persons connected with them have any direct or indirect interest in the members' voluntary winding up of MMHE LNG.
