We refer to the Company's announcement dated 2 May 2025 in relation to the show cause letter and rejection of the Company's application for 7th Extension of Time ("EOT") to submit the regularization plan pursuant to Paragraph 8.03A of the Main Market Lisitng Requirments of Bursa Securities.

The Board of Directors of the Company wishes to announce that Bursa Securities has vide its letter dated 28 May 2025, granted the Company a further EOT up to 28 November 2025 to submit a regularization plan to the relevant authorities for approval (“Extended Timeframe”).

The extension of time is without prejudice to Bursa Securities' right to proceed to suspend the trading of the listed securities of the Company and to de-list the Company in the event:-

1. the Company fails to submit the proposed regularization plan to the relevant authorities for approval within the Extended Timeframe;
2. the Company fails to obtain the approval for the implementation of its regularization plan and does not appeal within the timeframe (or extended timeframe, as the case may be) prescribed to lodge an appeal;
3. the Company does not succeed in its appeal; or
4. the Company fails to implement its regularization plan within the timeframe or extended timeframes stipulated by the relevant authorities.

Upon occurrence of any of the events set out in (1) to (4) above:-

1. the trading of the securities of MALPAC shall be suspended on the 6th market day from the date of notification of suspension by Bursa Securities or such other date as may be specified by Bursa Securities (“Suspension Date”); and
2. the securities of the Company shall be de-listed and removed from the Official List of Bursa Securities upon the expiry of 2 market days from the Suspension Date, unless an appeal is submitted within 5 market days from the date of notification of de-listing by Bursa Securities (“Appeal Timeframe”).

In the event MALPAC submits an appeal for a further extension of time/against de-listing (“Appeal”) within the Appeal Timeframe, the de-listing of the securities of the Company from the Official List of Bursa Securities will be deferred pending the decision on the Appeal.  However, the trading of the securities of MALPAC will be suspended on the Suspension Date, regardless of/pending the decision of the Appeal.
