Reference is made to the Company’s announcement dated 30 April 2025 in relation to the submission of the extension of time application to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) for the Company to submit the regularisation plan to the relevant regulatory authorities (“EOT Application”).

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Barakah, Malacca Securities Sdn. Bhd. wishes to announce that Bursa Securities had vide its letter dated 22 May 2025 rejected the EOT Application as the Company has not demonstrated to the satisfaction of Bursa Securities any material development towards the finalisation and submission of the regularisation plan to the relevant regulatory authorities.

The Board of Directors of Barakah will announce the next course of action soonest possible.
