Reference is made to the Company’s announcement dated 21 March 2025 in relation to the submission of the extension of time application to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) for the Company to submit the regularisation plan to the relevant regulatory authorities (“EOT Application”).

On behalf of the Board of Directors of SCB, Malacca Securities Sdn. Bhd. wishes to announce that Bursa Securities had vide its letter dated 20 May 2025 rejected the EOT Application as the Company has not demonstrated to the satisfaction of Bursa Securities any material development towards the finalisation and submission of the regularisation plan to the relevant regulatory authorities.

The Board of Directors of SCB will announce the next course of action soonest possible.

This announcement is dated 20 May 2025. 

NOTICE: The affairs, business and property of the Company are being managed by the Interim Judicial Manager appointed by the High Court of Malaya. The Interim Judicial Manager contracts and acts as an agent of the Company and disclaims any personal liability under any contract entered into by the Company which has been adopted by the Interim Judicial Manager and any contract entered into by the Interim Judicial Manager on behalf of the Company.
