The Board of Directors of CPE wishes to announce that Compliance Committee ("CC") was established by the Board of Directors and the Chairman / Independent Non-Executive Director was appointed to helm CC, who played a pivotal role in guiding and strengthening the Company’s compliance framework. Following the successful listing of CPE TECHNOLOGY BERHAD and over the past two years, CC has effectively overseen compliance across critical areas including corporate governance, industrial safety, environmental responsibility, and regulatory adherence.

To support these efforts, the CC engaged two third-party consultants with expertise in industrial safety and environmental management, and worked closely with the Company’s team of qualified compliance officers. Their collective work has ensured that best practices are implemented and maintained throughout the organization.

As a result of these dedicated efforts, CPE TECHNOLOGY BERHAD has achieved significant milestones, including successful accreditations for ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System). These accreditations are a testament to the Company’s strong internal controls and culture of compliance.

In view that such accreditations are subjected to surveillance audit annually by the relevant organization, with robust systems now fully embedded into daily operations, and a competent internal compliance team in place, the Company has reached a level of maturity that allows it to operate as a self-regulated organization. The original objectives of the CC have been effectively fulfilled and the Board hereby dissolved the CC and the compliance matters will be reported to both Audit and Risk Management Committee and the Board of Directors.
