For consistency, the abbreviations and definitions in this announcement are the same as those defined in the announcement dated 26th September 2024.

The Board of Directors ("the Board") of Bina Darulaman Berhad ("BDB") would like to inform that the Company's solicitor has provided an update on the progress of the above mentioned lawsuit as follows:

  1. The second mediation process took place on 10th November 2024, with all parties and their lawyers in attendance. The second mediation could not be achieved.
  2. The new date for the hearing of the legal proceedings against the defendants have not been fixed by the Court.
  3. On the other hand, the 3rd Defendant (BDB) filed a Striking Out application of its name removed from the lawsuit. On 11th December 2024, the Court granted the Striking Out application by BDB as one of the Defendants in this legal suit and awarded cost of RM2000.00 to BDB.

The Company will provide regular updates on the status of the case.
