Reference is made to the earlier announcement dated 12 November 2024 in respect of the Counterclaim filed by CN Eleco Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (“CN Eleco” or “Defendant”) against MIE Industrial Sdn. Bhd. (“MIE” or “Plaintiff”) and Seremban Engineering Berhad (“SEB” or the “Company”). Unless otherwise stated, all abbreviations used herein shall have the same meaning as defined in the Announcement.

The Board of Directors of SEB wishes to update that as per the Case Management on 21 November 2024, the Court’s directions to SEB are as follows:

1. SEB to file its Defence against the Counterclaim by 12 December 2024; and
2. The next Case Management is fixed on 7 January 2025 by e-review.

The Company will make further announcement(s) as and when there are material developments in relation thereof.
