Petron Malaysia Refining & Marketing Bhd (PMRMB) hereby announces that its Refinery at Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan, will be undergoing a maintenance shutdown for approximately 8 weeks to facilitate some repairs to its furnaces.

PMRMB also confirms that despite the shutdown of the Refinery, the supply of petroleum products to its network of Petron branded petrol stations, its LPG customers and commercial accounts will remain business as usual without any disruption or shortage of petroleum products to the market.

Whilst the financial impact cannot be estimated at the present moment, we can confirm that the cost of the repair at the Refinery is not considered material.

PMRMB will make a further announcement when the Refinery is operational after the repairs.
