The Board of Directors of SLIC hereby announces that the Company has received a letter from SJ Securities Sdn Bhd (“SJ Securities”) dated 24 April 2024, informing the Company of their intention to terminate their services as the Principal Adviser and Sponsor for the transfer listing of the Company from LEAP Market to ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Transfer Listing”).
SJ Securities had written to the Company today stating that the termination was due to the fact that the firm does not have adequate resources to continue acting as the Principal Adviser and Sponsor for the Transfer Listing.
Pursuant to the letter of termination from SJ Securities, their services to the Company will cease on 23 May 2024.
The Company is currently looking for another Principal Adviser and Sponsor for the Transfer Listing and will make the necessary announcement in due course.
