Pursuant to Paragraph 9.22(1) of the Main Market Listing Requirements (“MMLR”) of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”), JCB is required to issue its interim financial report that is prepared on a quarterly basis (“Quarterly Report”), as soon as the figures have been approved by the Board of Directors ("Board") , and in any event not later than 2 months after the end of each quarter of a financial year.

The Board of JCB wishes to announce that the Company is unable to release the Quarterly Report for the Financial Period Ended 31 May 2023 within the timeframe, not later than 31 July 2023. The delay in the issuance of the Quarterly Report is due to a significant loss of manpower and loss of critical finance personnel and the additional time needed by the Company to finalise its Quarterly Reports. The Company taking serious steps towards identifying suitable replacement candidates to rectify these issues and finalise its Quarterly Report.

In view of the above, JCB is expecting to issue and submit its Quarterly Report for the Financial Period Ended 31 May 2023 not later than 18 August 2023.
