We refer to the announcements dated 25 April 2016, 28 April 2016, 31 May 2016, 1 June 2016, 29 June 2016, 24 October 2016, 25 October 2016, 26 October 2016, 27 October 2016, 18 November 2016 and 15 February 2017 in relation to the SCR to be undertaken by Tanah Makmur (“Announcements”). Unless otherwise defined, the terms used herein shall have the same meanings as those defined in the Announcements. On behalf of the Board, CIMB wishes to announce that a written notice for the suspension of trading of the ordinary shares of RM0.20 each in Tanah Makmur and the entitlement date for the SCR (“Notice”) will be despatched to the shareholders of Tanah Makmur on 21 February 2017.
