(Unless otherwise stated, all abbreviations used herein shall have the same meanings as those mentioned in the Company’s announcement dated 28 October 2022 in relation to the SCR)

We refer to the announcements dated 28 October 2022, 17 November 2022, 25 November 2022, 7 December 2022, 12 December 2022, 10 January 2023, 11 January 2023, 3 February 2023 and 13 February 2023 in relation to the SCR.

On behalf of the Board, MIDF Amanah Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that the High Court had, on 17 April 2023, granted the order confirming the reduction of the issued share capital of the Company in accordance with Section 116 of the Act (“High Court Order”) to give effect to the SCR.

Following the above, the Company will lodge an office copy of the High Court Order with the Registrar of Companies pursuant to Section 116(6) of the Act (“Lodgement”) in due course. The SCR will become effective upon the Lodgement (“Effective Date”). For the avoidance of doubt, the Effective Date shall be on the same day as the entitlement date in respect of the SCR.
