We refer to the Company’s announcements dated 26 September 2022, 12 October 2022,6 December 2022, and 20 February 2023.
The Company wishes to announce that on 28 March 2023, the Shah Alam High Court (“Court”) dismissed DRJ’s application for leave to seek judicial review against DGIR’s Decision in relation to the Additional Assessment, with costs of RM5,000.00 to be paid by DRJ to DGIR (“High Court Decision”). The Court further did not grant a stay order upon DRJ’s application to the same.
Upon advice by the Company’s solicitors, the Company has filed its Notice of Appeal against the High Court Decision at the Court of Appeal today and will be filing its application for a stay of proceedings of the DGIR’s Decision in relation to the Additional Assessment soon.
The Company will make further announcement on any material development of the matter from time to time.
