TOMYPAK-WA - Notice of Book Closure

Adjustments to the exercise price and number of outstanding warrants of Tomypak Holdings Berhad ("Tomypak") constituted by the deed poll dated 18 May 2016 ("Warrants 2016/2021") pursuant to the subdivision of every 1 existing ordinary share in Tomypak into 2 ordinary shares in Tomypak ("Subdivided Share(s)") ("Share Split") and the bonus issue of up to 111,556,120 new ordinary shares ("Bonus Shares") on the basis of 1 Bonus Share for every 4 Subdivided Shares ("Bonus Issue") held by the shareholders of Tomypak at 5.00 p.m. on 5 June 2017 ("Entitlement Date") ("Adjustments").

Kindly be advised of the following : 

1)  The above Company's securities will be traded and quoted "Ex - Adjustment” as from: 1 Jun 2017
2)  The last date of lodgment : 5 Jun 2017

Remarks 1: "Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd would like to clarify that on the basis of settlement taking place after 5 June 2017 with adjustment to the number of outstanding TOMPAK-WA shares, any shareholder who is entitled to receive TOMPAK-WA additional shares may now sell any or all of his TOMPAK-WA shares arising from adjustment pursuant to the bonus issue beginning the Ex-Date (1 June 2017). 

For example, if Mr X purchases 100 TOMPAK-WA shares on cum basis on 31 May 2017, Mr X should receive 100 shares on 5 June 2017. Pursuant to a bonus issue, a total of 250 TOMPAK-WA shares will be credited into Mr X's CDS account on the night of 5 June 2017 being the Book Closing Date. Therefore, Mr X can sell the TOMPAK-WA shares of 250 on or after the Ex-Date i.e. from 1 June 2017onwards." 

Remarks 2:  Holders of Warrants 2016/2021 ("Warrant Holders") who wish to be entitled to the Share Split and Bonus Issue should exercise their Warrants 2016/2021 by lodging their duly completed exercise forms together with the relevant subscription monies with Tomypak's Share Registrar on or before 5.00 p.m. on Wednesday, 24 May 2017 such that their names will appear on the Record of Depositors at 5.00 p.m. on the Entitlement Date. Up to 82,100,655 additional Warrants 2016/2021 ("Additional Warrants") will be issued and allotted pursuant to the Adjustments. The exact number of Additional Warrants to be issued and allotted will depend on the number of outstanding Warrants 2016/2021 as at the Entitlement Date. The Additional Warrants will be listed and quoted on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad simultaneously with the Subdivided Shares and Bonus Shares on 6 June 2017, being the next market day immediately after the Entitlement Date. Tomypak's Share Registrar will issue and despatch the notice to Warrant Holders setting out the details of the Adjustments and notice of allotment for the Additional Warrants in due course.
