Reference is made to the Company’s announcements dated 19 August 2019 and 20 August 2019 in relation to the Proposed SCR (“Announcements”). On behalf of the Board, Hong Leong Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that, in accordance with Paragraph 3.06 of the Rules on Take-Overs, Mergers and Compulsory Acquisitions, the Board (save for the Interested Directors), has appointed KAF Investment Bank Berhad as the Independent Adviser to provide their comments, opinions, information and recommendations to the Board (save for the Interested Directors) and to the Entitled Shareholders in respect of the Proposed SCR.
