CSL wishes to announce that the resignation of PFA Corporate Consultants Sdn Bhd (“PFACC”) as an agent of CSL in Malaysia ("Agent") shall take effect from 7 December 2017. 

Pursuant to Section 563(4) of the Companies Act 2016 (the Act”), PFACC shall cease to be the Agent:

1. on the expiration of a period of twenty-one (21) days after the date of lodgment of the notice of cessation of agency (“Notice”) with the Registrar of Companies (“ROC”); or
2. on the date of the appointment of another agent the memorandum of whose appointment has been lodged with ROC in accordance with Section 563(5) of the Act,

whichever is the earlier.

PFACC shall lodge the Notice with the ROC on 8 December 2017. If the Company does not appoint a new agent in Malaysia within 21 days from the date of lodgement i.e. 8 December 2017, the resignation of PFACC as Agent in Malaysia shall take effect from 29 December 2017 pursuant to Section 563(4) of the Act.

Pursuant to Section 563(5) of the Act, where an agent ceases to be the agent and the Company continues to carry on its business or has a place of business in Malaysia shall, within twenty-one (21) days after the agent ceases to be an agent, appoint an agent.
