Reference is made to the announcement dated 14 October 2021, 30 November 2021, 10 December 2021, 7 January 2022, 26 January 2022, 9 February 2022, 4 March 2022 and 28 March 2022 made by MPCORP. The terms herein shall bear the same meaning as defined in the said announcement.
The Board of Directors of MPCORP wishes to announce that the Plaintiff’s Counsel had on 22 June 2022 informed the Court that the parties have reached a settlement whereby the amount of the Real Property Gains Tax for the Assessment Year 2019 of the Defendant has been fully reduced and therefore the Plaintiff Counsel had requested to withdraw this matter with a liberty to file a fresh and no order as to costs.
The Court allowed this matter to be withdrawn with liberty to file a fresh and no order as to costs.
