Reference is made to the Company’s announcements dated 19 August 2019 and subsequent announcements as well as the circular to shareholders dated 29 October 2019 in relation to the Proposed SCR (“Announcements”). Unless otherwise defined, the definitions used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as those defined in the Announcements. On behalf of the Board, Hong Leong Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that the High Court has postponed the court hearing date to 23 March 2020 to confirm the reduction of share capital of the Company pursuant to Section 116 of the Act to give effect to the Proposed SCR. Following the above, we are pleased to set out below the latest tentative timetable for the implementation of the Proposed SCR:
