TRANSACTIONS (CHAPTER 10 OF LISTING REQUIREMENTS) : NON RELATED PARTY TRANSACTIONS HEKTAR REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT TRUST (''HEKTAR REIT'') - PROPOSED ACQUISITION
 

HEKTAR REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT TRUST

The terms used herein, unless the context otherwise stated, bear the same meaning as those defined in the earlier announcement in relation to the Proposed Acquisition.

Further to the announcement dated 24 June 2025, the Board of Directors of Hektar Asset Management Sdn Bhd, being the management company of Hektar REIT, wishes to announce the termination of the SPA following the non-fulfillment of several key Condition Precedents on the Vendors' part. The Trustee for and on behalf Hektar REIT has fulfilled all of its Condition Precedent responsibilities within the SPA's Conditional Period.

Pursuant to the termination of the SPA, the deposit sum will be refunded to the Trustee for Hektar REIT. 

The termination of the SPA is not expected to have any material effect on Hektar REIT's earnings, net asset value, gearing, unitholders' capital or substantial unitholders' unitholdings for the financial year ending 31 December 2026.
