Putri Norlisa Najib began her legal career in 2005 at Eversheds in London, UK where she trained and practised as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales with a specialisation in banking. Upon her return to Malaysia, she was called to the bar in 2009 and practised in Kadir, Andri and Partners where she was made partner before she co-founded Putri Norlisa Chair in 2015. In 2018, Putri Norlisa Chair merged with Adnan Sundra & Low and she continued as partner before becoming the Joint Managing Partner of Adnan Sundra & Low in 2023.

As a practising lawyer, she regularly advises in local and cross border banking and finance transactions involving various types of financing structure such as project finance, debt restructuring and private debt securities. Apart from specialising in banking and finance, she also remains active in corporate and commercial transactions which include mergers and acquisitions, joint venture agreements, capital market transactions and on the formation of long-term incentive plans. Having been in the legal profession for more than 20 years and having been involved in many substantial transactions, she also advises on regulatory requirements in Malaysia ranging across different industries such as financial institutions, manufacturing sectors, chemicals, life sciences and medical technology, machinery and metal and services sectors including healthcare services, business services and oil and gas for both local and international clients.
