The Board of Directors of Kelington Group Berhad ("KGB" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that on 12 September 2026, Kelington Engineering (S) Pte. Ltd. ("KESG"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of KGB, has accepted a Letter of Award ("LOA") awarded by a leading semiconductor manufacturer in India ("Customer") with a provisional contract value of USD452 million (approximately RM1.83 billion) for the provision of turn-key total facility tool hookup services in relation to the Dholera Fab in Gujarat, India ("Project").

Under the LOA, KESG will act as the main contractor and undertake the overall design, installation, connection, testing and handover of manufacturing, laboratory and support tools, together with related tool-specific support systems for Module 1 and Module 2 of the facility. The works are expected to commence in September 2026 and are expected to be completed by February 2029 ("Completion"), for a contract period of approximately 30 months.

The provisional contract price comprises USD249.9 million (approximately RM1.01 billion) for Module 1 and USD 202.0 million (approximately RM817.2 million) for Module 2, covering up to 886 tools across both modules. The final contract value will be determined based on the actual quantities of tools and services executed.

The LOA is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of KGB for the financial years ending 31 December 2026 and thereafter until Completion. The LOA is not expected to have any material effect on the share capital and substantial shareholders' shareholdings of KGB.

The Company does not foresee any exceptional risks other than the normal operational risks associated with the LOA.

None of the Directors and/or major shareholders of the Company and/or persons connected to them have any interest, direct or indirect, in the LOA.

The Board of Directors of the Company is of the opinion that the acceptance of the LOA is in the best interest of the Company.
