DISPOSAL OF 100% EQUITY INTEREST IN ANN JOO STEEL BERHAD ("AJSB" OR "TARGET COMPANY"), A WHOLLY-OWNED SUBSIDIARY OF AJR, COMPRISING 612,993,535 ORDINARY SHARES IN AJSB, TO GREEN ESTEEL PTE LTD ("GREEN ESTEEL" OR "BUYER") FOR CASH ("DISPOSAL")

Unless otherwise stated, all abbreviations and definitions used herein shall have the same meaning as those defined in the Company's announcements in relation to the Disposal dated 22 May 2026, 19 August 2026, 20 August 2026 and 7 September 2026.

 

On behalf of the Board, Maybank IB wishes to announce that the Disposal has been completed on 11 September 2026 following the receipt of the completion amount of RM150.0 million in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SPA.

 

The Retention Sum shall be satisfied in the manner set out in paragraph 2(i) of Appendix I of the Circular and the Company will announce the final amount received from Green Esteel upon receipt of the same.
