| Working experience and occupation | Mr. Sylvan Sim Chi Meng (Mr. Sylvan) graduated from the University of Technology Sydney, majoring in Accounting and Finance. He is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and CPA Australia. He commenced his professional career with KPMG Malaysia in 2006, undertaking statutory audits across the manufacturing, property development, oil & gas and financial sectors. In 2009, he served DRB-HICOM Berhad as a Group Internal Auditor and subsequently in 2010, he served Schlumberger Business Support Hub as a Management Accountant. In 2012, he held various finance leadership positions in Shell Business Operations, where he served for 7 years as Team Manager (Planning & Appraisal - Global Commercial Lubricants), Senior Team Manager (Downstream Reporting & Analysis) and Legal Entity Controller. From 2019 to 2021, he was the Regional FP&A Manager at Experian Malaysia (Global Finance Services) with oversight of the Financial Planning and Analysis, Controllership and Revenue functions for the Asia Pacific Region. He currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Bullish Aim Sdn. Bhd., a Malaysian telecommunications-infrastructure provider. |
