Reference is made to AWC's announcements on 21 May 2026,11 February 2026, 5 November 2025, 21 March 2025 and 6 August 2024 in relation to the arbitration between Trackwork & Supplies Sdn. Bhd. ("the Claimant") and Emrail Sdn. Bhd. ("the Respondent").

The Board wishes to inform that the Claimant has filed a notice of appeal to the Court of Appeal against the High Court's order to set aside of the Arbitration Award awarded to the Claimant ("the Appeal"). The case management of the Appeal has been fixed on 22 September 2026.  The Claimant has also filed the notice of application to be granted leave to intervene in the judicial management proceedings, to take the necessary steps on the Appeal and to recommence and/ or continue the said arbitration proceeding against the Respondent and the case management has been fixed on 26 August 2026.

The Company will make further announcement if there is any material update on the aforesaid material litigation.
