Please be informed that today, 17 August 2026 was fixed for Case Management (CM) before the YA Judge Puan Jamhirah binti Ali.

During CM, the learned Judge informed that the 1st Proposed Intervener has the locus to intervene because he is a contributory of SGB. As for the 2nd Proposed Intervener, the learned Judge was of the view that the said company should stay out of the proceedings because they are not a creditor of SGB.

The learned Judge fixed the above for further case management on 24 August 2026 and directed the solicitors for the Proposed Interveners to attend and to update their stand:

(i) The 1st Proposed Intervener is to confirm whether he will be filing an affidavit in reply to Enclosure 1; and

(ii) The 2nd Proposed Intervener is to confirm whether they will proceed with their application to intervene. 

In addition to the above, the solicitors for the Opposing Creditors informed the learned Judge that they would like to file an affidavit in reply to the further affidavit that Applicants have filed on 5 August 2026 in Enclosure 46 updating the Court the status of legal proceedings in Suit 262. The learned Judge directed them to file the said affidavit in reply by 24 August 2026.
