Dato' Sri Baljinder commenced his career in 2000 as a Consultant with Straits Josen Consulting Group, where he advised small and medium-sized enterprises on corporate planning, business development and financial management. He also collaborated with state government agencies on entrepreneurship and economic development initiatives and conducted feasibility studies and strategic planning assignments for public and private-sector projects.

From 2011 to 2014, he served as a Director/Senior Corporate Consultant with Salvagnini SpA, Italy, where he led manufacturing automation and industrial modernisation initiatives for clients, advised on lean manufacturing, production optimisation and capital investment planning, and conducted operational diagnostics, feasibility studies and automation evaluations. Dato' Sri Baljinder also worked closely with engineering teams to improve productivity and operational performance.

He joined Magical Era (M) Sdn. Bhd. as a Director since 2015, where he leads the company's property acquisition, development and investment activities, responsible for land banking, strategic investment holdings, project financing and commercial negotiations, as well as driving business expansion initiatives and evaluating new development opportunities.

Currently, he is also the Senior Director (Operations & Control) of Fahrenheit International Limited, Dubai since 2017, where he is responsible for strategic investment planning and execution across the property, infrastructure and industrial sectors. He also leads the acquisition of investment holdings, strategic assets and commercial partnerships, and oversees cross-border investments, portfolio growth, capital deployment and transaction execution.
