Mr. Woon Foo Wen ("Mr. Woon") is an accomplished finance executive and business strategist with more than 30 years of professional experience across finance, corporate strategy, business transformation, mergers and acquisitions, capital management and sustainability. His career spans public-listed companies, multinational corporations, private enterprises and government-linked organisations, where he has held senior leadership positions including Group Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Group Finance and Head of Finance & Operations.
Throughout his career, Mr. Woon has successfully led a broad range of strategic corporate initiatives, including public listing exercises, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, business transformation, financing and treasury management. He has successfully secured financing facilities exceeding RM200 million, led a RM120 million debt restructuring exercise, and played a pivotal role in the successful RM415 million divestment of UPECA Group to a UK-listed corporation. As Group Chief Financial Officer of Malaysian Green Technology Corporation, he also led the organisation's finance, commercial and strategic partnership functions, supporting the national agenda for sustainable development and green technology commercialisation.
Mr. Woon is a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (CA(M)). His extensive corporate leadership, strategic financial expertise and proven track record in driving business growth, transformation and value creation position him well to contribute to the Company's long-term strategic objectives. |
