PROPOSED TRANSFER OF THE LISTING OF AND QUOTATION FOR THE ENTIRE ISSUED SHARE CAPITAL OF SORENTO CAPITAL FROM THE ACE MARKET TO THE MAIN MARKET OF BURSA MALAYSIA SECURITIES BERHAD ("PROPOSED TRANSFER")

We refer to the earlier announcements in relation to the Proposed Transfer. Unless otherwise defined, terms used in this announcement shall carry the same meanings as defined in the announcements dated 19 March 2026 and 30 March 2026.

 

On behalf of the Board, Alliance Islamic Bank Berhad wishes to announce that the Securities Commission Malaysia had, vide its letter dated 16 July 2026, approved the Proposed Transfer under Section 214(1) of the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007.


Further, in compliance with subparagraph 2A.2 of Practice Note 22 of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities, additional information on the Company is set out in the enclosed attachment.
