PROPOSED PURCHASE OF TREATED WATER BY PERBADANAN BEKALAN AIR PULAU PINANG SDN BHD ("PBAPP"), A WHOLLY-OWNED SUBSIDIARY OF PBAHB, UNDER THE NORTHERN PERAK WATER SUPPLY SCHEME, FOR ONWARD SUPPLY TO THE STATE OF PENANG ("PROPOSED BULK WATER PURCHASE")

Reference is made to the Company's announcements dated 6 November 2025, 15 May 2026, 3 July 2026 and 13 July 2026 in relation to the Proposed Bulk Water Purchase.

 

On behalf of the Board of Directors of PBAHB, RHB Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that PBAPP has on 15 July 2026 entered into a conditional bulk water supply agreement with Prasarana Air dan Irigasi Perak Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Khazanah Air Perak Sdn Bhd, which in turn is a private limited company incorporated by a consortium comprising Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Perak and Gamuda Berhad, in relation to the Proposed Bulk Water Purchase.
