| Working experience and occupation | Mr. Eugene Khoo Kong Hooi is an experienced banker with over thirty (30) years of experience in financial services and corporate sector. His experience covers various areas, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate banking, corporate finance, debt capital markets, equity capital markets, private equity investment and relationship management. He has extensive experience in the financial services industry, having led award winning transactions with clients from small to large corporations in various countries across a broad range of industry sectors. From 2016 to 2018, he was the Group Chief Executive Officer of Ayer Holdings Berhad. Prior to this, he worked in the corporate and investment banking area with regional and global financial institutions including RHB Investment Bank Berhad, Citibank Berhad and AmInvestment Bank Berhad. He started his career with an international accounting firm where he obtained his qualification as a Chartered Accountant in Australia. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of TRX City Sdn Bhd as a Non-Executive Director. He was previously an Independent Non-Executive Director of Bank of China (Malaysia) Berhad from 2017 to 2026. He was also a past member of the Committee of The Royal Selangor Golf Club from 2022 to 2026. |
