The Board of Directors of Rimbunan Sawit Berhad ("RSB" or the "Company") ("Board") wishes to inform that access to the estate of the subsidiary namely, PJP Pelita Ulu Teru Plantation Sdn. Bhd. (Ulu Teru estate) has been disrupted since 18 June 2026 due to a blockage of the main access route to Ulu Teru estate. As a result of the blockage, harvesting, transportation of fresh fruit bunches and certain estate operations have been affected.

 

The Company has been engaging with the relevant authorities and other stakeholders to resolve the matter as expeditiously as possible and is implementing operational measures to minimise the impact on its plantation activities.

 

At this juncture, the duration of the disruption remains uncertain. The Company is in the process of assessing the operational and financial impact arising from the blockage. The Company will make further announcements should there be any material developments or when the financial impact can be reasonably determined.

 

The Board is closely monitoring the situation and management has been directed to take all necessary steps to safeguard the Company's operations and interests.
